In short: the tool is free, it runs in your browser and nothing you clean ever reaches us.
Who you are dealing with
exif.es is made and operated by Color Vivo Internet, S.L., a company registered in Spain, which also develops KillEXIF. Writing to [email protected] reaches us.
Using the website means accepting these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use it: there is nothing to cancel, because there is no account.
The tool is free
Viewing and removing metadata on exif.es is free, with every supported format, and needs no account or sign-up.
The site is served as static files and runs entirely in your browser. We do not promise it will always be available, and we may change or withdraw it.
What you may not do
You may use exif.es with your files, personal or for work, including your clients’ files. What you may not do is copy the site, present it as your own product or use it to deceive anyone.
The name, logo and design of exif.es and KillEXIF are ours.
What we do not promise
The tool removes the metadata it detects, tells you which it could not remove and why, and checks its own work by re-reading the clean file. What it does not do is guarantee that a file carries nothing that identifies you: a format can hide data where no tool looks, and an image can identify you through what it shows.
It is provided as is, with no warranty beyond what the law gives you and does not let us exclude. Nothing here limits your rights as a consumer under mandatory law.
The original file is never touched: what you download is a clean copy.
Privacy
The website does not upload your files and there is no account to create. What we collect and what we do not is all on the privacy page, which is part of these terms.
Changes, law and contact
We may change these terms, and continuing to use exif.es after a change means accepting it.
These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live and may bring claims before its courts. For everything else, the courts of Madrid, Spain.
